Two more gorgeous Irene’s Black Greek last night
#s 11 and 12 seriously taste better. I’m sure it’s hard to believe that the flavor is changing so much that it’s worth noting, but seriously the flavor has rounded off and found an excellent balance of what was once (not too long ago) an outrageously strong berry and fig flavor (I mean too strong). These last two figs found flavor harmony. My wife dubbed these our best figs. And in two weeks, watch the brix readings will go over 30. That’s the other test I’m currently doing: I cut the sweetness fertilizer and tested (as low as 20), and now I added them back. Two weeks above 30 watch - or I can be completely wrong and they go below 20. Just saying. #lovethemfigs
